I can see it is going to suck progressively more so...you can already see it with the snipes and misunderstandings for Pitt n Cuse. I can't wait to leave this league...I'll miss some of the teams and fans but no way in hell we stay more than one more year.

Honestly, every team I actually cared about is already gone or leaving with us. Boston College, WVU and Pitt are all gone.

Who should I feel bad for? USF? Cinci? Rutgers? UConn? These are all C-USA leftovers or D2 call-up's.

I do wish we were still in a league with Louisville though. They are the one school I'll miss.

seems very quiet on the "leave Time" for 'Cuse and Pitt. Is 'Cuse waiting for the Pitt law suit and decision or is 'Cuse being pro-active? Any information forthcoming soon? (is this a topic that would be more updated with a premium component to this site?)

I like it.

But this will get ugly enough on its own without any of our help.

Especially as it sinks in with RU and UConn fans that there is no room for them on any life raft.

The idea here is to get out of town without anyone noticing. Think of Raoul Duke (Hunter Thompson) exiting a Las Vegas hotel after trashing the room.

Of course it will be fun reading and listening to the moral outrage from the uninvited. "How could SU? A Charter member of the Big East. What treachery. What about your "fiduciary" responsibility to your conference "partners". All, of course, without admitting they would have done the same thing if invited.
