Secondly, if they join the Big East and the BE does not meet the criteria, then the BCS has every right to take away the AQ status. The government won't get involved, and even if they do, so what? It's a free market system. BCS can do whatever they want. How shady would it be for the government to stick its nose in a college sports system just because the military academies are involved?
