night during the game they talked about the potential Big East POY candidates. MCW was the Syracuse player ESPN picked as a potential POY winner. Anyone else laugh at that choice?

CJ Fair has far and away been Syracuse's best player this year.

The Otto kid should win it.

Wasn't that something the fans voted on? Cuse had more fans than anyone watching that game so they picked the only Cuse player.
But yah pretty laughable that espn picked MCW over CJ for the SU nominee.

MCW has been self-fulfilling hype all year. Do you think anyone's watching this season outside of us and thinking 'you know, he's not as ready for the NBA as I thought'.

As much as the early season praise of MCW’s good play may now seem somewhat unwarranted/over-the-top, it’s most likely that the current criticism of his recent poorer play may also seem somewhat unwarranted/over-the-top at some point in the future as well. So, in the effort of providing a snapshot of where the stats currently stand for MCW, these are the categories in which he currently ranks within the top 20 as compared to other Big East teams (full season stats):

Yeah, I chalked it up to SU fans watching the SU game during the poll, and representing the highest percentage of voters.

Agree 100% about CJ Fair, and I think that Porter locked BEPOY up last Saturday.

Whoever ESPN picked as the SU nominee was going to win. It could've been Baye Keita. Most fans watching the game were Cuse fans.
