Nobody is watching Fox Sports 1.

Xavier/Georgetown on Saturday night did a 0.3:eek:

For other title game comparisons, UConn/SMU did a 1.3 and UNC/ND did a 2.3

Could the possibility of a more geographically compact density of population and relative choices to them have had at least a minor influence on the ratings? When will the shaden freud end?

You've come to the wrong place my friend.;)

I mean, the "Boneyard" sounds more like a BDSM board, but this place literally has elements of it going all the time. No wonder so many people just watch, like I admonished Jeckel about recently.

I honestly think it has more to do with Fox Sports 1's complete lack of visibility than it does with the BET. I can barely remember that FS1 even exists most of the time.

I agree. Fox Sports 1 is separate from the rest of the sports channels on my cable. Pretty much all the sports channels are 300-350 or so and Fox Sports is channel 400 and I'm not used to automatically checking what's on like I am with ESPN etc.

If it was the BDSM board it would visit it!

I think judging by the ratings, there was a reason that it wasn't on fox.

But they put several regular season games on Fox. Why wouldn't they put the championbship on it?

I have U-Verse in Roswell, Georgia. U-Verse did not show any Big East Tournament games on their Fox Sports 1 feed. Instead, we were treated to that great sport of World Championship Darts. Huh? There are enough people in the Atlanta area who care about the Big East. A lot of Atlanta people are transplants from those areas - myself included. And we remain loyal to the Big East.

My son and I actually attempted to watch the BE championship game. But when we checked the Foxsports regional channel that usually carries them and then checked Fox we didn't see it so we watched another game. while flipping through the channel guide later I noticed tit was on FS1 which I had completely forgotten about. And I even found the NCAA game on TruTV last night so I'm not completely ignorant.

You don't think the tv ratings, or lack there of, of a conference we were in for over 30 years is a legit topic of conversation here? Really? Of course it is.

Now THAT would've gotten better ratings for sure.

I couldn't resist.

Another comparo: Duke at SU last year did a 2.9!

As the Creighton fan in Omaha on the board I gotta admit I had high hopes for Fox and right now I am basically about ready to give up on them after this season.

Last year from a Creighton perspective it was great to have FS1, we were coming off of only having games on regional sports networks and barely any coverage with Doug McDermott as a junior. FS1 comes along with national tv and actual name teams and CU lead off the 11 PM SportsCenter 3 times, unreal. CU had Bill Raftery and Gus calling games in Omaha, something we never thought we would see before. Every CU game was on TV, the year before we had to listen to the radio for 3 conference games in the year 2013. All the while FOX was telling us "we just need a year, just need to get on basic cable, we have the Super Bowl and MLB playoffs."

This year though the ratings are worse, ESPN has ignored the #2 conference RPI wise, and even with the number 2 team in the nation in the title game it draws that. I know the schools are getting a ton of money but is losing all the visibility really worth it. The AAC is not a great conference but since they are on ESPN they get a ton of coverage. ESPN is doing to the Big East what it did to the NHL "You wanna go to the competition, fine don't expect a lot of coverage from us then".

I know FOX has the World Cup, US Open, and MLB still but until they get on a channel everyone gets and gets a highlight show people will watch the Big East and Fox is screwed.
