Big opportunity for the DLine today

Watching the Wake UMd game right now.

First two Maryland possessions Maryland couldn't block Whitlock at all. Made more plays in those two series than he did all day last week.

Their interior blocking was a mess and now they lose their LT.

That match up has to favor SU.

And I think the SU OL vs Md DL match up favors SU as well.

As far as skill positions, Md is without their top two WR's for the rest of the year, and I think their starting CB's. That should help narrow any gap that existed with both matchups.

Hope to see Bromley and Crume in the backfield all day.
One thing that concerned me in the Wake game is our DL often let Price get outside after a rush up the middle - fortunately, he was inaccurate throwing while rolling out. The MD QB Brown is mobile enough to do the same against us today, so the DEs needs to be mindful of containing him.

Going to be interesting to see if we come back with the 4-3. I really think this would be a game where our aggressive blitzing could greatly benefit us. Bromley has potential to have a monster game, as well as Davis/Lynch.

Even though Diggs and Long are out they still have some pretty talented wr's who could hurt our secondary if we blow assignments. CJ Brown won't miss on wide out passes either.

I do think Maryland has a pretty strong DL so we may have some problems running. I have a feeling were actually going to have to score 3 td's to win today

the numbers say maryland gets 430 a game. the real numbers say they avg 340 a game since they started playing in the ACC part of the schedule. we pretty much avg the same thing as them against the big boys.
