I see articles has been written that speculate the ACC tournament could stretch to 6 days.  They don't explain how this might be done but as best I can guess, it would be like this:

Day one

18 vs 15
17 vs 16

Day two

1 vs winner of 18 vs 15
2 vs winner of 17 vs 16
3 vs 14
4 vs 13

Day three

5 vs 12
6 vs 11
7 vs 10
8 vs 9

(bye for winners of day two)

Day four

Winner of game 1 day 2 vs winner of game 4 day 3
Winner of game 2 day 2 vs winner of game 3 day 3
Winner of game 3 day 2 vs winner of game 2 day 3
Winner of game 4 day 2 vs winner of game 1 day 3

Day five

Winner of game 1 day 4 vs winner of game 4 day 4
Winner of game 2 day 4 vs winner of game 3 day 4

Day six

Winner of game 1 day 5 vs winner of game 2 day 5

Three days in a row of 4 games.  That is a lot of basketball.

There has also been discussion about not having all ACC teams make the tournament.  I don't think it has been decided yet.  I don't even see where it has been decided where the 2025 tournament will be held.
