The differing opinions should make the June 20 meeting very interesting. So many possible alliances among conferences...like an espisode of Survivor.

All politics right now...a compromise will be reached. The ACC will be at the Big Boy Table...I think the Big East is in doubt but politically they might keep them there. No need to get Congress involved.

So, that's B12, B1G and SEC wanting the best 4. Looks like that's we we're going to get. I hope when they revamp the selection process, they hold off on ranking until at least week 5 of the season. That way teams aren't locked into a spot without seeing their play.

Interesting that the B1G broke from their PAC-12 buddies (who would most often the be odd man out of the Big 4) on this.

What is the "current" bowl system anyway? The BCS is on life support, but I don't think the plug has officially been pulled yet. And if it has, nothing has been implemented in its place other than an agreement or two on individual games.
