Positives ... Too many guys on defense to name. Yes, they didn’t tackle well Saturday, but they still flashed enormous potential. Hanna, not even on most radar screens, played a hell of a game and led in tackles and had an interception. Jones has been great. Linton has NFL potential. Garrett Williams, so damn solid you forget he is starting for the first time. The D line has been outstanding, and good to see Roscoe making his name. Iffy, Cisco and Trill are what we hoped they would be. Would have been easy to name six or seven other guys equally deserving.
Elmore may have saved the season. What if he had balked and sat out instead of moving his senior season into a new position that he hadn’t  played since middle school? What a warrior. Nykeim is the real deal. Could give us Erv Phillips production out of the slot and is a tremendous return guy. Taj takes some criticism, but his ability to break tackles is extraordinary. Tucker has been outstanding, but give Hackett credit, coming off an injury, for sacrificing his stats and body to play fullback in ISO. 
Still, bottom line is 1-2. But it’s not the 1-2 that makes you think more of the same. This team has potential to get much better in a hurry. Don’t know what the rest of the season will bring, but they are making it interesting.
