My heart leapt when I read this, my mind raced, who the heck can this be? Is this runner #44 worthy?

I punched the link and waa waah, this wasn't about Syracuse football it was about Emily Nist the cross country teams latest edition.

Sometimes this happens when you are digging for the latest and greatest news and in a hurry to get it on the board.

All of that said, our cross country team is one of the top 15 in the nation. I want to take the time to welcome Emily to the Syracuse family of athletes. It looks like the weather here won't bother her in the least. Emily, good luck in your career at SU even though you aren't the second coming of Jim Brown.

Love that our CC teams are finding success. My high school was very talented in the sport and I think it's a a lot more fun to follow than it's given credit.

I love seeing articles on XC. Fox has done a great job improving the programs on both sides. Maybe these types of articles for the minor sports could end up on an OT board.
