1. Averin Collier

2. Malcom Cater

3. Marcus Sales

And you can add PTG to the list.

Missing anyone?

Trey Fairchild

Think of how our WR corps would be bolstered featuring Sales, Fairchild, and Lemon with Chew as the #4 wideout.

I look forward to the day when we have 3 or 4 WRs on the team that are good enough to start pretty much anywhere, who are playmakers, and who are big YAC threats with good speed / elusiveness.

The wiseguy response would be that we should stop trying to rely on NYS guys, too much trouble, too much risk. ;)

EJ CARTER.....

DAVIS, LYNCH and VAUGHAN should all be watching the starting trio of Carter, Cater and Spruill right now...:(

Guys I am normally pretty resevered, but after watching the Cuse the last couple of weeks I can honestly say, I do think that Trey would have helped alot this year.

Tre faced double teams, most teams kicking away from him on returns (he had to run side to side just to get to balls the were mostly squibbed and pooched) and an overbearing father (

), but he still had the second best year in recieving yards in school history 1,133 and did it on only 66 catches and also managed 2,138 all purpose yards (a lot for a WR) and through it all you were classy, never complained and only talked about trying to get wins. He handled himself with class even though he had QB's that had a hard time getting him the ball.

Sorry for the rant but going 3-7 was tough and watching him get so open all year and still have limited touches was just as tough.

Wish we had Trey in Orange Jerry thx for posting and keeping us up to date on your son. As always best wishes to you and your family

This is the difference between SU and the sec schools or the like, these kids would have still been playing football here. SU's not perfect by any means and the kids still screw up like kids do but at least there is some kind of responsibility here and that's the way I prefer it to be. That said, it seems like basketball has a lot less problems and kids don't nearly have the problems of getting in. Same school...different rules?

I don't think you can say Cater would still be here, he not only stole from his teammate, but also other students. Sales had some pretty serious charges filed against him, they couldn't cover that up even though his father was a Syracuse LEO. And I am not 100% sure about Collier, but I think he was academically ineligible... Would UGA or LSU have made sure he "passed" those classes? Ehhh maybe...

You get the witnesses to change their story like lsu did and problem solved. The culture there and in many areas is much like the psu culture in regards to priorities. Do you see any players tossed because of grades? 2 or more lsu kids were caught smoking pot and they got a 1 game suspension. Florida had a kid write a threatening letter to a girl and he's on the team. I can't imagine the stuff that goes on and isn't reported.

Carter wouldn't have had to steal a tv, he would have had the cash to buy one.

I've found myself thinking this multiple times this year even before the last 3 games. Glad Trey is doing so well, would be much happier if it was in the dome so I could cheer for him in person.

Change "maybe" to "definitely" and I agree with everything you wrote.

I liked the "only 66 catches" part.

You don't think any SU players have ever failed drug tests that have been covered up???

Mike Williams. Would've made a difference if he stayed out of trouble his whole career.
