They will meet in reality at the end of this month but right now those ancient rivals, the Oklahoma State Cowboys and the Oklahoma Sooners.

Oklahoma won the yardage battle 707-662. The Sooners ran for ran for 262 yards and passed for 445 compared to 184 yards rushing and 478 passing for the Cowboys. Mason Rudolph w2as 21 for 35 for 285 and two scores for the winners but was relieved by J. W. Walsh, who completed 4 of 5 for 167 yards and two more scores, including the go-ahead TD. Wide-out Austin Hayes also threw a 19 yard TD pass to tight end Blake Jarwin. Baker Mayfield was 27 for 32 for 383 yards and 4 scores for the Sooners. His back-up Trevor Knight was 6 for 9 for 62 yards and a TD p[ass to his twin brother Connor.
Walsh was the Cowboy’s leading rusher with 80 yards on 8 carries and a score. Alex Ross had 14 carries for 100 yards for the Sooners but did not score. His teammate, Samje Perine had 90 yards on 11 carries and scored twice. No Cowboy had more than 4 catches but James Washington used his four catches to gain 200 yards and those two long fourth quarter touchdowns. Sterling Shepard had 11 catches for 183 yards a 1 score for the Sooners. (He’s not related to OSU’s Brandon Shepard.)
You wonder how close to the actual result on November 28th this fantasy will be. Maybe we won’t miss a great game!
