I have to think Chelsea will be solid favorites to win the domestic league next year.
Man United, while talented, will be going through unprecedented change. No Sir Alex at the helm, Scholes is done, and Rooney is likely out the door. Maybe Giggs will even reconsider his decision to return. City is a wreck, and even if they replace Tevez with Falcao, they've proven that they can't help but trip over their own feet.
Meanwhile, with Lampard likely back to partner with Hazard and Mata, Chelsea have 3 of the top 6-8 midfielders in the league. The D is shaky with Terry and Cole on their decline, but Luiz provides a unique offensive threat on set pieces, Cahill is living up to his promise, and Ivanovic has a knack for clutch goals, especially in European competition. Up front, they can boot Torres to the curb and hopefully recoup a fraction of the ridiculous transfer fee they paid a couple of years ago. After all, he finally scored in 2013 league play! Then, bring back 20 year old Lukaku, who just scored 20 goals for the Baggies and looks to be ready to compete alongside Ba. Finally, spend the money freed up from Torres on Rooney, or possibly Falcao and create the attack that was missing for the last year.
Oh, and the Special One looks poised for a return.
Also, if neither Rooney or Falcao sign, Ross Turnbull's kid is a viable option.
