Also this day and age and maybe I am in the minority here I don't think the coach needs Northeast ties, preferably at least in my thinking for a guy who is coaching in a power 4 conference I would want him to have strong ties to the South. 20 years ago it was a huge deal, but now taking transfers from everywhere and NIL ruling the college football world regions don't matter as much.
