On offense, I think that McD was green (which is why I want someone with a proven record), but I think that he learned a lot (this is a very positive sign). However, I think our improvement on defense had to do wit HCSS taking more of a role after the GT game (pure speculation). That's a bad sign. To me, the DC failed on the job, and I think that HCSS' personal relationship may be clouding his judgment. That said, am willing to wait another year before I judge too much. The penalties/blown assignments may have been cause by the normal confusion that accompanies a new coaching staff, and my speculation about the DC is just that...speculation. [/QUOTE]
