by Ollie, Thompson jr., and mullin. that is some scary because none of those guys are even top half ACC coaches. we've been getting outcoached by the ACC for the last two seasons and this year? holy crap folks hold on to your hats

Ollie has a NC, he's a quality coach.

They seem to do well against us as well.
It's hard to respond to a sentence that uses the word "well" in two of the nine words, but i'll do my best. they haven't even challenged to win the AAC, and they needed a dude to make a 75 footer last year to make the tournament. just stop it with Ollie.

Is our F4 an anomaly last year? Should be then if you consider UConn's championship one. Realistically, from the Ennis team on the whole body of work has not been good. Average regular seasons and another one approaching with the offense just freefalling into an abyss season by season/game by game. I think we are still far away from winning our first ACC Tourney game. A few years perhaps.

Seeing Mullin's constant smile when the Johnnies were building their lead and throughout the 2nd half just made me want to cringe as an SU fan. My interpretation of his jolliness was...golly, if we could only play SU several times a year that would be beautiful. :(

Yes it was. Quite blatantly.

Well, so is starting a sentence without it being capitalized...just saying.

Truth is that our program, more specifically our programs scheme isn't too difficult to figure out at this juncture.

True but those guys clearly aren't in awe of it. We do face some teams that treat the zone like Gary Kasparov playing chess.

Granted, that is true Bayside, but seemingly those teams are becoming conspicuously fewer in number.

3 guys who know our program really really well.
3 guys with less talent that lose to midmajors regularly, that we are getting smoked by. plus we should inherently know their programs just as well as they know ours. or maybe our guys are spending too much time on boats in Brazil.

Mullin has been there 2 years. JT3 clearly has earned his bones against us. Ollie is somewhere in the middle and this loss to him was shameful.

mullin has dreadful talent and has drubbed JB two years in a row. JT3 is the definition of a mediocre coach, if he weren't the kid of a legend he would not be coaching there yet they have also drubbed us two years in a row. Ollie is weird and his teams are bad, but seem to play better in tournament settings, but that is no excuse for losing to that crap team at MSG. boeheim is struggling, the assistants are questionable and the roster management has been horrible.

Hop lost at MSG

that said, I've been critical of the lack of true offensive sets for decades. the lack of true pg depth too

no way we should be getting drubbed by gtown, sju and uconn repeatedly

life sucks, go orange!

i was at the game at the garden last year and was stunned. not so much this year. this is not a TEAM. UNDERACHIEVERS --NO HUSTLE,DESIRE OR HEART. its got to be killing jb as he was all hustle desire and heart. maybe he is just tired out now.

Ive never seen a team attack our zone quite like St. John's did tonight. They were starting their offense so dang high up that it literally created vast quantities of real estate down low, real estate that their smaller, quicker slasher types would use to go right around our bigger slew foots.

I've never seen anything like it. they hit three after three in the first half, and then dunked on us all second half.
