Good one. No smiles with good reason. At one point Kris walks off before it's just JB up there. He trips over a chair and JB says, "another turnover."

Yea i really get the sense he's not overly concerned with this team... just the usual dont let your head get too big comments. The offense will be fine, and we probably have the best defense in the country.

Actually I got the opposite. He seemed very concerned about the offense and with good reason. He was not a happy camper.

and just so im clear, i say that half jokingly... offense comes and goes, but he even said hes very happy with the defense and thats the first bad turnover game... we are plenty fine

I think JB likes this team alot. This is a team that doesn't get all excited or goofy over a big play. They are very level headed and even throughout the entire game whether winning or losing. After a dunk they aren't jumping around with the "ME ME ME" stuff.

This team almost acts too professional at times. Like an NBA team getting paid to play

I found the that line up has our four best offensive players line pretty interesting. If he is saying Brandon and Dion are better than Scoop offensively I have to wonder what Scoop is better than either if them at . . . . . .

I hate to say this...but Scoop to this team is like my old PS3... it was kinda nice some years back, but now just looks slow and outdated when compared to the newer models.

Ha...well said. Gotta feel for the kid a bit. It looks like for now he has the right attitude but it must have been a bit uncomfortable for him at the presser when they are discussing the best lineup end of games. Still, guys like Scoop and Tyshawn Taylor have to play smarter as seniors.

Wait, what? Is there a PS4 I don't know about?

Right. I'm really torn on the Dion staying on the bench vs starting. We just can't keep getting bogged down offensively early in games. We are pretty easy to defend IMO if there is limited penetration.

Well maybe he should start 2 of our 4 best offensive players then.

Irrelevent really. It's not like Rak is playing starters minutes and Dion is getting a lot of run. This team has bogged down offensively for the past two games and it isn't going to change much regardless of who is on court at the opening tap.

We sucked offensively for most of the game even with Dion and CJ on the court.

CJ and James looked out of place yesterday.

Feel Free to read my post immediately after that... In a way it does matter though, we are basically giving up the chance at getting off to a fast start. If we get off to fast starts its forces teams to play our tempo because they will be playing catch up.

You are assuming that we'd get off to a fast start with them. We have bogged down for much of the past two games even with both of them on the court. I think you could make a case for CJ starting, as I did pre-season. Rak is giving us very little. With Scoop it isn't as clear cut that starting Dion (instead of giving him starter's minutes) would make a huge difference.

You all are talking about individual players here. Stanford has less talent but plays better as a team. Fortunately, our talent was slightly better than Stanford's team play. Same for VT. I'm hoping we'll gel in time for BE play, if not we'll lose more than a few games.

Obviously it wont happen every game, but is 100% gives us a better chance to do so.

the advantage of dion coming off the bench is a much better chance of changing the game when its needed and he comes in.. same for Xmas. if you dont start him then he comes in hardly at all or if we are having issues then what do we do. you need to develop him and thats much easier to do when you start the game

Finally, someone that knows what he is talking about. Excellent insight.
