I didn’t watch any of the games this year, but I’ve noticed from years past that the tournament is really serious and means a lot to certain players/teams. They come to play and get attention and are really after the money and little known guys want to be able to say they beat some former big name college players. Some guys, whether they play pro overseas or rec leagues locally just seem to have the drive and intensity to win. I recall the early years when Overseas Elite was like a fine well oiled machine that was unstoppable.

The last few times I’ve seen Rak play, he appeared to be in good shape but does he even play much anymore? Malachi when I saw him, seemed out of shape and not very good. Anyway, Griff can now get back early to focusing on the real team this summer with what little he learned from this TBT experience.
