Picked this up on another big east team’s site.

fast forward to 3:50 mark...

Bruce Marshall, college insider for XX1090-AM, San Diego's "Sports Leader" says he's hearing San Diego and Boise are having second thoughts on Big East move, and he "wouldn't be surprised" if both remain in the MWC.

Touches on BCS uncertainty, and TV contract uncertainty, as two main reasons. Says the new CUSA/MWC TV contract could be large enough to keep them to stay.

If the Big East actually loses its BCS automatic bid, I would be very surprised if Boise and SDST actually join the Big Conglomerate.

I believe this is the same audio as discussed yesterday in the "will they pull a TCU" thread.

Also, if there's no more BCS, what's the point of them switching to play teams from much further away?

They said that with or without the BCS auto bid, that the switch is for money. Keep adding Memphis and Temple and all you're doing is diluting the pool of money to feed the additional mouths.

They finally realized what everyone else already knew who left or is leaving there's always one unnamed mouth at the Big East football table Notre Dame.

If Boise St and SDSU have a change of mind, the good ole commish will go to the tier 3 plan, ECU and let's say, Tulane maybe. He could have had BSU here next season by offering the WVU buyout surplus. What an idiot and what a joke. And BTW, RU will be the only original member of the BE FB schools remaining(if you don't count banished Temple), and that's a joke in itself.

Are Boise's and SDSU's moves not about money but about BCS bids or is the thought that the merged C-USA/MWC conference have more TV contract money clout than a membership in the New New Big East? I have not been following the realignment issues since the move to the ACC was announced.
