At game and the onside kick was the worse call I have seen since the GRob days. Two weeks in row with the punt in the 3rd Q vs. MD and now this.
Weak SU coaches are costing us...

the second onside was the right play the first one was questionable but I had no problem with it since only way we were stoping nd was turnovers

I didn't have a problem with either, we needed to get back on offense and the momentum would have been huge. We just didn't execute it to our advantage.

Shafer gambled but I respect aggressive calls. He crapped out but went for it. ND offense and the short perimeter passes owned our D. The only chance we had was an inside kick or turnover from ND;

No kidding. When the coaches don't go for broke on special teams, they get criticized. When they do go for it, they get criticized.

My Colts suffered a big loss to the Saints in the Super Bowl because of one of those What calls. It works sometimes and it fails sometimes. It failed today.

I have no problem with it if Shafer decides to try for an onside every kickoff.

No problem with either call, just that the kicks themselves were bad - need to hit it harder to get that high bounce instead of a slow dribbler that we have no chance of recovering.

I agree, it was too early. Almost seems like an over-correction from last week and the punt decision.
