The Citrus pays 8.5 million.  The Outback pays 6.35 million.  Not a big deal since this is a ‘once in a while’ thing, and the Citrus Bowl is a low end kind of dumpy facility, where Raymond James is a lot nicer.  Still hope someday both of these bowls will have ACC anchors.

Also, the Gator pays 3.2 million.  The Music City pays 5.65 million.  Not a great trade off from that perspective.

But on the positive side, the Holiday has been a relatively big paying bowl, 6.3 million last year.  San Diego is a great location to travel to; someplace fresh that I think many, including me, would be very interested to visit.  Plus, I think that is just a new bowl for the ACC; it replaces nothing.

Also, no question, the Gator is a better fit geographically and historically for the ACC than the Music City.  So overall, I think the changes are good.  Good, not great

Will the Holiday get to pick a school before the Camping World?  Will the Holiday still pay 6.3 million?

Kind of weird to have two ACC vs PAC12 matchups each season but there should always be room for a bowl with a great destination and a big payout.
