Bowl Attendance

Time for some evidence to go with that belief.

Of the 34 Bowls played so far, the Camping World ranked 10th in attendance. Of the 11 ACC teams in Bowls, Syracuse's bowl ranked 3rd in attendance behind Clemson-Notre Dame and the Belk Bowl where both teams were within driving distance. We can travel well.

Penn state is a different league in terms of fan base. It’s hard to compare their game to ours in terms of how many fans showed up. Couple that with a later start date and it’s no wonder they filled the upper bowl.

If we can string some successful seasons I believe we will be able to pack bowl games and sell out. It’s a orange future for us

if our opponent was PSU wem’d have brought 25 to 30,000 and they’d have 30,000 easily

Also weren’t flights from Syracuse almost completely booked? Next year I’d imagine there would be more flights to our destination. Hopefully we don’t become “jaded” towards bowl games and keep selling out our allotments

That’s every year. Citrus Bowl has been a huge Big 10 and SEC New Year’s draw forever.

Camping World is a lesser bowl and attended as such.

That said, we did great.

add to the fact Kentucky is having a career year, many fans won't get to see them ranked in the top 20 for another 15 years

Is this thread where I can officially mock Pack fans for the fact that our Bowl drew more in attendance than the Gator with freaking Texas A&M and the Pack?!? Ah hell, I guess I just did.

There were more people in the upper deck on Kentucky’s side than Penn State.

I was at the Music City Bowl in '99. UK fans travel in huge numbers when their team has an unexpected year. Just like us this year.

NC State however can stick it for spreading the campaign against us to try to get our bowl game. We traveled more and didn't embarrass ourselves in the game unlike the Wuffies.
