Got so much better as the year went on with reads and he's able to hold the ball in there for so long half the time he has me (and the camera guy) fooled.
If he can improve his throwing a little bit--consistency--and if our young WRs (Broyld, Estime, and the incoming freshman class) continue to develop, then I see no reason not to be extremely optimistic.
Also, I think a faster running back, not Jerome Smith, is more suited for this option, so if McDonald continues to take the offense in this direction--spread, with some option--then he probably made the right call leaving, because he doesn't fit in.
