Bracketology - Here we go...

It's never too early for this:

Currently has Syracuse as the 1 in the West (Phoenix) playing the 1st round in Pitt.

Would be ideal to be the 1 in the East playing in Boston.

9 projected BE teams.

I will unlike this post as I noticed that Belmont is the 9. We would not want to see Belmont in any way, shape or form.

not worried about anyone right now. we will be dominant this year.

Does anybody have a link to the SU/Montana stream? I might have to work while the game is on.

Thx in advance!

At this point I don't buy SU as a #1 seed! Does anyone remember the 87-88 team that returned Rony Siekly, Sherm, DC, Stevie and Matt Roe? We started the year ranked #1 and ended up a #2 seed in the tourney losing to Rhode Island. I think this team has talent but there are a ton of questions that need to be answered!

Yes, I still have Ken Greene nightmares. I'm looking forward to watching the season pan out, going to "THE GARDEN", hopefully watching SU cut down some nets, but really just doing it game by game. Team sounds as if it is very solid across the board, but it really does need a clutch "go to " guy. Almost every team that wins a N.C. has one.

Dion might like to see Belmont

We were actually a 3 seed in the 87-88 tourney.

When KJo is up to speed, this team will be hard to keep quiet. Lots of weapons. Defense will be long and active in the zone once they get comfortable. I am pumped.

Um, last time I checked, the season hasn't even started for 99% of teams. Who cares what Lunardi is projecting right now. #1 in theWest? Really!! OMG, I better book my flight and hotel arrangements now!

Get ahold of your emotions preppy.

I'd rather be a two seed in the East than a one in the West.
Naw ... I'm booking my flight too - to Las Vegas. I'll stay withmy son ... buy my tickets right now ... can't be that long a ride to Albuquerque ... Yep, good thing we have Lunardi ... I would have waited until the season starts or even until after the beginning of the new year. But now I can get my tickets early!!

Really? I could have swore they were a #2 seed. Man my memory is going! I just looked it up, that was a second round loss to Rhode Island in 88. The thing that is etched in my memory is Earl Duncan taking the last second 3 point attempt. I was so high on that team and couldn't believe they lost to an 11 seed.

Haha - it's all good. We were a 2 seed in 86, 87, 89, 90 and 91. The seasons blend together.

If we were to get a bracket like this, there would be no excuse for not making it to the Elite 8 against Duke. If we did any less than that against that draw, this team would have underachieved.
