Baylor can get to the Elite 8 without having to play higher than a 10 seed. That must be nice.

Well, just think if they'd lost - Kentucky wouldn't have even had to deal with the 2 or 3 seed in their region.

Boston College made it to the tourny and are going to the sweet sixteen. Well at least two of their former players Brady Heslip (Baylor) and Evan Ravenel (tOSU) are!! Can't wait until we start playing them again in basketball in ACC!

Baylor has some athletes and some size. They could give UK trouble if they play smart.

They might be the second most athletic team in the country. If their zone isn't a total wreck, as it tends to be, they can absolutely knock off UK.

Their zone is pretty weird...I guess it's some sort of matchup...it looks almost like a 1-2-2, sometimes a 1-3-1...but there are gaps in it wide enough to drive a Mack Truck through it.

Brady's uncle Jay Triano was coach of the Toronto Raptors and the Canadian national team.

Heslip acted like a major punk after hitting his 6th 3 last night giving himself 3 goggles with both hands. If a kid can get a T for hanging on the rim or looking at their own after a poster dunk I though Heslip should have been T'd for that move. With that said the kid is a hell of a shooter.

As a Canadian, I do want to give a shout out to the number of Canadians that played key roles (or meaninful rotation roles) on teams in this year's tourney,

Kris Joseph - Syracuse
Andrew Nicholson - St. Bonaventure
Rob Sacre - Gonzaga
Kevin Pangos - Gonzaga
Myck Kabongo - Texas
Brady Heslip - Baylor
Laurent Rivard - Harvard
Kyle Wiltjer - Kentucky
Junior Cadougan - Marquette
Jahenns Manigat - Creighton
Alex Johnson - NC St
Christian Kabongo - New Mexico St
Hernst Laroche - New Mexico St
Daniel Mullings - New Mexico St
Tyronn Watson - New Mexico St

5-10 years ago if you made a team of the best of the Canadians that made the NCAA tourney it may not even compete in the SWAC. Now it would have a solid chance of playing next week.

Probably learned the move from watching Jose Calderon in Toronto who used to always do the same thing. Hopefully, he puts more effort on the D end, then Ole Calderon.

BC also lost Rakim Sanders, who scored 100+ points for them before he finished at Fairfield this year. Maybe they should have held on to Al Skinner.
