He plays for UNC, so instead of a 1-game suspension, the F2 will be expunged from his playing record.

I do not believe a Flagrant 2 requires an automatic suspension for the next game. It’s not like a Red Card in soccer. A flagrant 2 can lead to a suspension for next game or more, but only if the governing body determines it to be necessary.

I would think Manek doesn’t get suspended for the next game, as it was definitely on the lower end of a Flagrant 2.

They just announced that Buddy will be suspended for his first G League game.

If the refs had viewed the play and Buddy had been tossed in-game, he could have played against Duke. So, I am guessing that Manek will play.

I do agree there is a resemblance, but not sure if it's with Elmo. Maybe Animal with Sweetums.

yup.. love the rule in that say the play happens for Buddy with 2 min to go and they review and he gets tossed.. all good no suspension and he loses 2 min.. but because refs screwed up and didnt review or even notice in real time he loses 40 min.. wouldnt it make more sense to be like fball where you lose a half at or something in cases were refs mess it up.

I'm not so sure they would treat it like that if someone is ejected very late in a game.

Personally I didn't see a lot of NBA no doubters out there last night, but I like Manek better than the KU All-American. Do not see it with that guy.

according to this site- manek was the 13th highest rated NCAABB player this season!!! - which surprises me a lot - seemed a decent player but that's very high.

perhaps some bias from me because he doesnt "look like" a star bball player - more like ultimate frisbee or rock climbing or something haha..also i just didnt watch any games other than the orange.

Agree. Manek looks like he can be a good role player in the League. Decent size and skills all the way around. He'll need to improve his ability to drive but that can come with a bit more bulk. His outside shot is impressive for a big man.

Manek played his guts out and was roughed up the whole game it seemed. Surprised he didn't receive a concussion from the elbows to the face.
