I was also in Chicago (older sis lives there) for those Regional Semis and Finals as well in Houston.  It was quite miraculous really.  And, probably the last time I felt pretty good about the hoops program.

The one thing I would push back on somewhat (as others have suggested) is calling 2 consecutive wins in March a "run."  No doubt though, getting to the S16 and that 2nd weekend is always awesome, however, it in no way erases, at least IMO, the consistent mediocre regular seasons, being unranked, etc. that is and have been our [I]new normal.[/I]

Moreover, it took us our 4th year/season in the league to get our 1st ever ACC Tournament victory. To date, we have yet to ever win more than one game in a row in the ACC Tournament.  And, as a result of such mediocrity/being a middling seeded team, never gaining the double bye, never getting to an ACC Tournament Semi, or Championship game.  We have been in the league now for 13 seasons, mind you, a league that has also been quite bad the past two seasons, and several years preceeding it, being mediocre at best.
