It could have been easy to come in with no emotion at that point, but he sent a message to the staff with his performance. it was much more then just mopping up the game. He showed that he is prepared, and wants to play. I really think he could have won over the coaching staff, and more importantly the team with that effort.  You can see when he scored just how excited everyone was for him. I think you saw right there who the teams wants.

It was also good to see Quinta Funderburke come in ready to go, and make a couple nice plays.  The kid looks the part, and more importantly produces whenever he is given a shot.  I have seen him play 4 times, and in 3 of those times he has made at least a couple plays each time.  I'll say it again, but I truly believe he is still in the dog house, and earning back Shafer's trust. HCSS doesn't seem like a coach that would take lightly if you slipped up in the classroom.
