Looks like he did 26 reps on the bench and ran a 4.93 forty in his first attempt. I kind of expected a little bit better showing on the bench.

Probably because he just started this morning. With the bench press if you compare his scores to the other DLs I would say that he is in the top third.

Yeah you're right, that puts him at 17th out of 55 or so. Not bad.

Good guess. 17th out of 50 which would be 34th percentile.

Did the same number of lifts as Easley and one more than D. Jones.

I can't wait to see where he's taken. Maybe I'm wearing my orange shades, but I just can't see him not succeeding in the NFL. He was a beast the last couple of seasons and only seemed to get better.

When a kid like this that gets overlooked it just shows you there are many more that never get the opportunity.

If it wasn't for his high school coach lobbying to get him into the all star game it's likely that none of this would be happening.

A pro baseball player from Florida once told me that there were more than 20 athletes from his area that were better than he was that never caught a break.

You would think with all the networking and scouting that this wouldn't be the case, but it is.

The NFL combine scouting report says that Bromley is a bland pass rusher with inflated sack numbers. How did they come to that conclusion? How are his sack numbers inflated?? If there's one label that I think would not apply to Bromley, "bland pass rusher" would be it.

Inflated?!?! Based on what...the fact NO ONE else along our front 4 could get any pressure on the QB, so Bromley was essentially shedding double teams or more all season. Whoever wrote that is clueless.

Official 40 time of 5.06, which places him 28th out of the defensive lineman, so unfortunately he didn't meet his goal of running a sub 5.0 time.

-26 reps on the bench puts him at 17th
-33.5" vertical puts him at 15th
-106.0" broad jump puts him at 29th

3 cone drill and 20 and 60 yard shuttle are yet to be completed

I could see him having an Arthur Jones trajectory. Art is going to get paid. This last season he really opened some eyes.

What is a "bland pass rusher"? How do you inflate sack numbers? I will guarantee he will be a good NFL player. He's at least as good as Art Jones was. IMO he's better than Art. Time will tell I guess.

I wish Bromley did better on his broad jump. I think he is going to do well on the right team. I am disappointed that Spruill didn't get the invite to the combine.

A DT being called a "bland pass rusher" is one of the craziest things I've ever seen. A DT that puts pressure on a QB is always an added bonus.

My gut feeling is that this kid continues to be undervalued, and ends up a low round pick. But I'll bet whoever takes him ends up glad they did. This kid will just out-work everyone else until he gets what he wants.

FWIW the combine reported B1G darling Hageman's 4 sacks as inflated as well. How such a small number can be inflated is beyond me.
