One time target who I believe is cousin or some relation of Wes Johnson flipped from Oregon to Texas. Apparantly his gf is going to be a Longhorn soccer player.

It is crazy how much flipping is going on in these last couple days. There is going to have to be some kind of early signing period because this is nuts. If you look around at the recruiting services guys are bouncing around everywhere. Coaches aren't going to get much sleep these last couple of days.

As mentioned in another thread, flipping is a part of the game. It sucks, but it is just another thing coaches have to deal with. In this case, can you blame a kid from Texas deciding to stay home and going to school with his girlfriend rather than his original decision to go play for the Fighting Phil Knights?

Every non-athlete considers multiple colleges and they probably go back and forth a few times before making their final decisions. Why can't athletes change their minds, too?

bumping up the early signing period means the flipping would happen earlier. it wouldn't eliminate anything
