I fear this team is cooked and now the real rebuild needs to begin... BUT Beane has handcuffed them by signing a bunch of long term contracts that aren't worth their cap hit (see Dawson Knox). If the Sabres are an example, I don't think Pegs has the wherewithal to get the right people in place to fix this. He did a great job when he first hired McD/Beane, but I think their time is done.
