The only advantage is that if they do score you have that extra down to go for any first down you need and don't need to ever play safe. How to factor in refs suddenly calling PI is an unknown. Coaches are more likely to go for it from their own 40-50 anyway now, so I think its probably a better thing to start at the 35 and force the other team with the long field if you fail vs kicking.
