I think everyone involved with Syracuse football is burned out at this point and ready for the season to be over with. I expect we will see a lot of changes off season to who is involved with team and how it is run. Their is a definite fatigue within the program right now

The problem may be the way Marrone is running the program. I was watching the SU hoops team sitting below me in the student section having a great time the night before the season opener and thinking when was the last time the football players had any fun.

They are required to attend plays Syracuse Stage, learn how to eat at edicate classes, etc. Maybe its time for Marrone to take his foot off the gas pedal and all the kids to have some fun. Maybe even give a player a hug or a pat on the back on the sidelines after a good play.

It's a 12 game season at a minimum. If the team isn't holding together, that goes directly back to the coaches. If there are cancers within the team, do something about it. Are they losing control? What.

I think the staff is as stressed out as the rest of us. It appears they are trying to develop playmakers and failing. It's frusterating for everyone involved and I'm sure the coaches feel that just as much as any. Maybe as a result they are pushing the guys way too hard. Everyone looks spent right now players, coaches, fans, everybody.

Good observation. I'm in the camp that thinks we could use a little more than stoicism on the sideline out of Marrone (I'm not calling for him to be football's version of Frank Martin), and an expression of excitement over player performance could go a long way towards improving motivation on the team.

I know, I know, people are going to tell me that already happens and I just can't see it because I watch on tv and I don't have man-love for Marrone so I'm not looking for it, but the basic idea is that the guy doesn't look like he's enjoying being a part of a football game on the sideline, and his players don't look like it either.

Pat on the back or a hug? Are you kidding me? I think they all need a kick in the -ing ass. They deserved a pat on the back for one game all season.Craziest thing i have read yet.PFFFT! PAT ON THE BACK? LMAO
