Buttgers gets to play ND in the Pinstripe. Their number of wins against teams going to a bowl: zero. Combined wins of the five FBS teams they beat: 14. Color me impressed. The Big 10 must be quaking in their collective boots

The rumor I heard is that the B1G is shaking in their collective shoes with just the thought of Rutgers joining next season. The two biggest fallouts may be that Urban Meyer may be looking for an easier conference in which to win; and, Oklahoma may be re-thinking their imminent move to the B1G. This could have a ripple effect and actually save the Big 12, at least until Texas makes up its mind...again.

I have not yet heard from my super secret source within the government's scientific community, but he may still be crunching numbers. I hope he can squeeze a little time away from his rocket science for us earthly minded fellow fans. Nor have I heard from my contacts in Norman or Austin, translations: Silence = Super Duper Big Happenings (I learned this from the DUDE). Obviously, I will keep everyone posted with these new developments as I make them up, or someone comes up with a better rumor.

The great thing is they'll prolly play in the Pinstripe Bowl with the highest attendance and run around bragging about it - while completely ignoring it was 90% Fighting Irish fans.

90%? Probably closer to 98.

Lets go ND!!!! (I think I made myself a little sick there... but I stand by it)
It's OK... as long as it's bitterly cold and miserable.

You got that right.

To be fair, Cuse had an off year too.
Not quite the same level of "off year".

To follow on the comment of the OP, Rutgers' vanquished D-I opponents had 14 wins among them; ours had 28.

We beat 3 bowl teams. Rutgers, nil, as the Brits say.

I hope ND buries them. We lucked out with our bowl.

I am a Golden Domer fan right now. I usually do NOT cheer them on, but for this particular game, I would even wear a Fighting Irish shirt...if I had one.
