By the end of his Syracuse basketball career..

that's the best news i have heard in a while. i am convinced he is going to die before he finishes the entire season

Mhm I'm worried though. I hope the release date isn't being rushed due to the HBO series catching up to GRRM. I'd wait a decade for a perfect Winds of Winter, than 3 or 4 years for a rushed, alright one..

BJ Johnson will be one of the best players to have played for the cuse since the turn of the century, and possibly one of the best all time.

I have a great feeling about this kids attitude, work ethic, athletic ability, brains, basketball skills and upside.

I just want to make an official thread so everyone knows it was trueblue who called it.

well that's pretty high praise.and Remember, I just got back from Amsterdam.

imho, realistically, I think he is going to be exactly like Demetris Nichols. Not have amazing stats his first two years but I think when his hard work and morals pay off, it will be his junior or senior year and he will shine big time like Nichols. A first team all-leaguer

Never knew who I thought was better... Nichols or Warrick

Warrick and it was never even close. I'm not sure how else to respond except that I want to fight you now.

Hey hey hey...

Mind you I was only lets see... 9 years old turning 10 when Warrick started playing like a star after the national championship.

The first go to player I can clearly recollect in my mind is G Mac and Demetrius Nichols. I've been a Syracuse fan since Preston Shumpert's freshman year...just gets a little foggy trying to remember before like '05 and '04 for me because I was so young and didn't fully appreciate sports.

Warrick was a star before he won the title. All you need to know is Warrick is an all time great on great teams and dnic was decent on crap teams. Hakim Warrick was a god damn treat to watch. He was a phenomenal college player, probably my all time favorite.

I apologize I apologize. I'm sure my father would scold me too. It's hard as a kid to fully soak things in. I remember from '98 to 2005 my Dad had seats right next to the Syracuse tunnel. He took me to every other home game. I got to hi five Carmelo, Preston Shumpert, Craig Forth, Hakim Warrick, Pace, G Mac (when he could reach), Nichols and many others. My favorite was always big strong Jeremy McNeil.

I suppose the overall experience of the dome, dome dogs, the crowd and excitement was always too much for me to remember great performances or who was better. I was so young that I told myself Josh Pace and McNeil were the best on the team because they were my favorites.

I can't blame you for not having the sharpest memories as you were a kid... but never again compare warrick to nichols.

Nichols might've been the better dunker though.

[Snicker! Tee-hee!]

Heyyy lets not bash our own players.

Though that was a disappointing loss >.>

Nothing beats Warricks nutsack dunk. Except maybe Fair's offensive foul or Flynn's rutgers throw down.
