Bye Week Gamefilm

Watched some of the SU-Florida game... man, that was great.

Thanks for posting that, Go.

Kirby Dar Dar! Ran it right at me on that return . As loud as the Dome has ever been. Awesome!

Kirby Dar Dar KO one of the great moments in Dome history.

Wow!

just watch how fast Ismail is on the opening Kick-off return.

Ismail was flat footed and not running when Kirby starts heading up field and Quadry was the only guy to catch him at the end.....pure speed. Was at the game and never watched it afterwards

A couple of things with that Florida game

1. Nice mullet Shane Matthews
2. Love Quadry's speed on that return.
3. Surprise of the day- Rutgers beat Northwestern? What?

Watched the film of the 1988 Penn State game. The guys in the 1980s had a nice run. Dick MacPherson did great things for us, John Flannery was incredible as was Rob Burnett, we had receivers that sportscasters referred to as "acrobats", #44 was still on the field, and Daryl Johnston played the game to win. It's time to have a competitive team again and we have a group that seems to be channeling the toughness of the past. Steve...thanks for posting the games. LGO!!

Couple other things I noticed too.

1. Seems like almost no fans wore orange back then. I was at that game, but can't really recall, just remember it being full and loud, and there were a good amount of Gator fans there.
2. When Graves got hurt on the option pitch TD to Walker, it was as if everyone didn't want to hold up the game, so even though trainers came out, 2 players just picked him up and carried him off. Can't imagine that today.
3. Didn't realize Spurrier's fun & gun was all under center. Didn't watch it all, but in the first few drives, there was not one shotgun. Shows how much the game has changed.
4. Three regional ABC games that night at 8 pm. Didn't realize that was as prevalent. I think it took some time off, then obviously came roaring back to 8 pm being THE game of the week now.

What is better than sitting back and re watching a game you attended as a 13 year old! How about watching your face pop up on the screen as you cheered your team on! Go... thanks for the memories...

Fun. Broadway is not too bad at color but his voice does not match his alpha male rep. The age of huge shoulder pads - I think that contemporary mens' (and womens'!!) suits also had big padded shoulders. The good old days when SU could beat any team in the country on any given day.

Luv it. Why don't we run the wishbone on 3rd and 1 anymore - great formation for that situation.

"If you're good enough, you can come here and wear #44"

Always like the option offense - somewhat unique at that time - almost a signature trait of the team, like the zone defense in BB.

Embrassed to say that I thought Kevin Mitchell was a linebacker. Would luv to have him at NT every season.

He's uploaded a ton of college football and hoops games it's incredible.

His VCR collection must have been enormous.
it's kinda terrifying, he's a maniac that needs to be put away
but he's also a hero
why does an FSU fan have that many SU games?
