I guess SILENT is his word. Every one of his 11 points Saturday were at a time when we needed a bucket to slow down The wolfpack. Yet somehow they are hard to remember.I guess because they were neither emphatic slams or 3 point daggers but he is a MONSTROUS reason why we win.

( sorry about the poll. Wouldn't let me post without it for some reason)

Great finish on the and-one; that's on the short list for play of the game.

Fair also had a pretty sweet midrange baseline jumper before that.

Even if he has a bad offensive game, he's solid for 6-8 big rebounds and playing solid defense.

The shot I'm recalling as classic CJ came during the stretch in the 2nd half when we were settling for outside jump shots, NC State was on a run and we couldn't buy a basket. Whoever our shooter was missed badly from outside, and CJ was there with the rebound and put-back, at a time we desperately needed it to stop the bleeding.

He is the perfect glue guy. Goes about doing all of the little things, competes, and from all accounts seems like a good guy.

He made a couple really tough mid-range jump shots in that game. It was great to see.

Has anyone else made the Josh Pace comparison yet? Both left handed. Both #5. Both glue guys. Fair is bigger of course and more of a rebounder where Pace could handle the ball and distribute. However, they just came to play and filled stat lines doing whatever was needed to help the team.

Welcome. Take your jacket off, stay a while.

ain't no knock comparing anyone to josh pace.solid, somewhat limited, but highly effective. a cuse classic.

I agree, I love those jump shots by CJ. He always seems to hit them when we need them. Very nice.

If he could his offensive game up to the level that I had hoped he would be (pre-season), our half court offense would improve markedly.

He has the potential to add a lot to our half court offense.

It was right after they got a missed 3 put back to tie it as well at 54 i think? I don't think they ever had it tied and the ball did they?
