Carey would be a big pick up. Anselem was a big pick up. Edwards was a big pick up. There aren't many 7 footers (or near to that) in the world, and there are even fewer at that height who are athletes. Every one you get is gold, even though many won't develop into anything.

If you can manage to recruit an athletic 7 footer every year and 25% work out you're top 10 in the country at developing centers. If you can recruit an athletic 7 footer every year and 50% of them work out you are the best big man school in the country with the exception of the 3 or 4 schools who can afford to purchase the most college ready bigs every year, send them out to the pros, and do it again the next year.
