When asked about the knicks coaching opening

he said quote "Every high profile Nba job, AAU job, High School job, my name is mentioned so this is nothing new"

Jim Boeheim at times but he doesnt go around telling ppl how good he is and looking for the press confrences and cameras. And he has won a National Championship

It's incredible that he brought all of this on himself. It wasn't like the reporter went to him and said "So, the NYK have an opening now..." He wouldn't have been asked about it at his press conference had he not tweeted, a mere 10 minutes after D'Antoni resigned, that he wouldn't leave UK. I think he knows he can't coach for beans and wouldn't be able to use his recruiting skills in the NBA, which is all he has left at this point.

Serious question: What would it take for you to admit that he actually can "coach for beans", to use your term?

Beating other amateur teams without a team on a D League payroll. Basically a level playing field would be nice.
