I for one wish him well.  Unlike most on this forum I have a real admiration for Calhoun.  I think he is the best NCAA tournament coach of the modern (64 team era).  Yes, better than K.  I believe that if he hadn't spent the first decade of his career building a program from scratch at a nothing little urban university, he would probably be well ahead of JB and challenging K for the all time lead.
 
On top of all that, I find his personal story compelling - you should look it up sometime.  I understand that his personality is hard scrabble and tough to like, but I find both his life story and especially his coaching to be very admirable.   I hope he is able to recover and finish out his career on his own terms.
