I never saw a replay. Was it really a can of corn? Would he catch 7 out 10 of those? In real time it seemed high.

Game over if he makes that play

if he was 6'2", he probably would have had it

Ball hit him in both hands. Need to make that catch.

Should have had it. It wasn't a can of corn, but I'd say 5/10 times he makes the catch. Not quite as bad as P Thomas' last year against Rutgers, though.

pretty much a bullet pass up high off the finger tips. Would've been a GREAT catch, especially given the circumstances. After seeing the video I toned down my dissappointment. Tough catch.

Eh, that's fair for a wideout. I don't have the same expectation for a player on the defensive side of the ball.

The equipment is often different for players on D, too. Specifically, the shoulder pads are typically bigger/more bulky for LBs vs. WRs; it makes it difficult to put your hands together above your head.

Agree, he had to react quick and reach back a bit for it. Just not a specialty skill you see from most LBs.

Would've been a pretty difficult catch, one I can't remember a Syracuse defender making in the past couple decades. Technically catchable, but not easy by any means.

Are you sure it was Lynch and not Anene?

That pass hit him in the numbers.

It was Lynch and it did not hit him in the numbers. I am watching the game right now, he was more than a few inches off the ground with his arms fully stretched out, he got his hands on it. We haven't had too many receivers the last few years who would have made that grab.

I would have had it. But then, I've got mad ups.
