IF - big if - Texas A&M wins the SEC tourney our resume has at Duke and over the SEC regular and tournament champion. All the bubble team have bad What losses but no bubble team could match those 2 wins.

Just grasping at straws at this point ha.

Our RPI and SOS numbers aren't that good. We didn't get to 20 wins or 10 conference wins.

We have some really good wins, the problem is the rest our resume blows.

Root for A&M, Duke, and the Bonnies to win their conference tourney's.

was duke ranked when we beat them ? i know they hit a rough patch and they spent time out of the polls.

Uconn is considered below us on the matrix, and Bonaventure just above us today (let's assume that is a proxy of what the committee is thinking as well)

The best thing is for both to lose the first game, in my opinion. (UConn stays behind us, and Bonnies slide behind us with a bad loss) There is certain value having 2 wins over other teams right behind you on the bubble.

But if they win the first games tomorrow, then you hope they go all the way.

Seems like UConn is the team that could screw us. Oregon State losing tonight would be nice (or tomorrow). But UConn beating Cincy would be a huge blow.

Its so confusing, Uconn and Sbu are our quality wins, so we need them to look good, yet we are competing with them for a spot. Its a double edge sword.

lol. The better they look the more likely they are to steal our spot. It is a catch-22. But if both of them lost by 50 in their opening games, we'd look a lot better come Sunday

And Uconn, Uconn winning would probably help us out.
No, no, no!!
Uconnvict is in last four out. Nothing would be as intolerable as they who shall not be named popping our bubble.

If Uconn loses tomorrow, we are still ahead of the line going into Friday... One day at a time. It will keep the interest (or the torture) a little longer.

But wouldn't that just bump someone else out like Temple or Cincy.

Your post underscores SU's predicament. We need massive help all over the place just to have a shot.

It depends if the committee thinks the same as the consensus... the consensus entering today had Cincy above Syracuse. So if they both lose to quality teams, Cincy stays ahead of Syracuse even with a loss. But who knows exactly how the committee has them ranked.

Also temple is not "really" in as of now. They get the auto bid as the conference leader in regular season but would probably not get an at large now. Somehow if the AAC stays at just 2 teams in the tourney it will probably be good for us..

They have 5 teams on the bubble right now, and no locks. It's quite the mess.

Knowing uconn they'll somehow pull their next 9 games out of their asses.
