I was thinking of a way for the players to get paid and thought can coaches pay their players to work summer Camps?

Coaches could easily throw some good money at their players if they did this.

If the NCAA doesn’t want players “paid” this is easily a way for it to be done and maintain the status quo.

Pretty sure yes they have always gotten paid. Probably on a 1099.

If they can then coaches could easily
Pay the players whatever they wanted for These camps.

Easy way once they are campus to get some decent pay for their services.

I could be mistaken but based on the rules right now I don’t think players can get paid to work summer camps ran by their coaches. They obviously work them but I believe it has to be voluntarily.

S-A’s can get paid to train kids on their own but they can’t use their status as an S-A to advertise it, or something along those lines. I’m probably not 100% correct but I remember doing research and reading the bylaws on this stuff when I spent time in Compliance last year.

I’ll probably go look tomorrow when I get bored

They can. Has to be similar pay to other counselors/coaches. It’s basically beer $.
