Might it be state specific.
The short answer is "no" as a high school AD. I have a link from NFHS which governs high school athletics. It will be allowed in some capacity once there's more clarification. NFHS Addresses Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) with New Course, User ExperienceMight it be state specific.

You should say they have to partner with their school in New York. Doesn't provide much opportunity or value...Yes it is state specific. New York allows it.

You implied there's full NIL in New York. It's restricted to partnering with your school. Try reading this article. High school athletes in New York can basically do nothing. NYSPHSAA says high school athletes can profit from name and image. What we knowNot sure what that means?

I think I stated it's very restrictive. No? My point is if someone asked "are there NIL opportunities for high school athletes in almost any state" The answer is basically "no". The restrictions are so tight at the high school level right now. That will eventually change.I read it the exact opposite. You can’t partner with the school and use the school name, logo or uniforms etc.

Seems straightforward
NEW YORK
Governing Body: New York State Public High School Athletic Association
State NIL Law: N/A
Status: Confirmed Permitted
Governance: NYSPHSAA Rules & Regulations
Applicable Language: Section 2 Amateur
Notes: On October 20, 2021, the NYSPHSAA Executive Committee took action by approving revisions to the amateur rule, allowing student-athletes to monetize their NIL. Student-athletes will be prohibited from entering into endorsement deals “in affiliation” with their school, Section, or the NYSPHSAA
Right. Schools can’t be involved. Strict rules in NY on commercialism in public schools. Goes right to the NYS Constitution.I read it the exact opposite. You can’t partner with the school and use the school name, logo or uniforms etc.
