Men'S XC and Women's Field Hockey National Champions
Men's Soccer Final Four
Men's and Women's Basketball Final Four
Men's and Women's Lacrosse top 10

I think we will likely have our best finish in the Directors Cup this year. We won't beat Stanford but we could challenge for top 5 or top ACC this year.

Well it doesn't help that BB points are awarded based on final ranking rather than NCAAT results. Other than that, if the BB teams, lacrosse teams and women's field hockey do well - how could we not dislodge Stanford?

Because Stanford competes in men's and women's water polo and every other sport under sun. They literally get points in every single category.

Seems odd that if we had like 5 championships that we wouldn't be first.

Syracuse has 18 varsity sports, Stanford has 36.

We already won the women's field hockey championship. Stanford wins every year because they play pretty much every sport possible and they're good at most everything.

Edit: I just looked it up and Stanford has won the Directors' Cup for the past 21 years. The only year they didn't win was the first year when they came in second. They've won 108 NCAA team championships and at least one each year for the past 40 years.

The women's sailing recruiting board would be a fulltime job by itself.

You overlooked men's Swimming & Diving to round out their 16 men's sports. BTW, it's Swimming & Diving for the women as well.
