I agree. But it has more to do with Wake being bad than anything else. We did what we were supposed to.

My favorite was when some random broadcast crew (too much flipping around to remember who) agreed that Northwestern and USC were the only tough games left on the schedule for Notre Dame.

Sportscenter these days is Alabama, LeBron, the Patriots...rinse repeat...that takes up 70 percent of their time.

Yesterday had several so-called "statement games", so I am not as upset as I will be two weeks from now when we beat the Irish to keep Dino's streak alive of beating at least one Top 20 team each year. I think there will be plenty of highlights then regardless of who wins.

Jesse Palmer and Joey Galloway - "Notre Dame better watch out, Syracuse is for real!"

I heard 'Cuse mentions as well. First win as a ranked team since 2001, etc.. A very good 'Cuse team, etc. Think I saw a half time highlight, as well. Saw us in the bracket for the CFP commercial.

Don't recall seeing a Clemson highlight. Just a mention, in regards to the points. No biggie if we didn't get a ton of play. It was Wake. They've won 1 conference game. Lousiville with 0. We were supposed to win. We did.

McElroy said early this week AFTER we were ranked that if Notre Dame loses the rest of the way it would by definition be to a “bad team”. A Syracuse guy called in and set him straight and Greg actually took back what he said. McElroy was going off our name and not the current season we’re having. Terrible oversight.
