Candidates for 2016 most improved

Obviously anyone on the team can try for this kind of progress but I look to Joseph and Roberson to be primary. Roberson has improved his board ability but like Kaleb doesn't help much offensively. Even Chris Mccullough in his brief time this season must realize what he lacked physically and what he needs to do to improve his game. BJ hasn't done much since he had a big game that everyone cheered. Count those returning and whats coming in freshmen wise IF Bryant does come here I see what must be considered a favorite for a NC. I think that this team would be one of the best Jimmy would or did put on the court including 2003.

Roberson will be a beast next year. However even if Bryant comes I'm still not sure we are a NC favorite...top 15 for sure though.

Roberson is improving by leaps and bounds right now. He may be good enough by the end of this year that he won't be in the running for most improved next year. He looked more confident out there tonight and even looked for his shot at times.

To be most improved, by definition, the player must not be having a great year this year for whatever reason. Thus, that tells me more of a Buss or BJ as candidates. TR is coming around nicely this year, so his improvement will just continue into next year (become a beast I agree) vs. being a big jump I think. Kaleb could be a candidate next year too once he learns to run and control the offense better and play really good D as well. Cooney and G will be good, just like they are good now.

Maybe we should have a "most improved board poster."

Kaleb simply gets in the way right now. If he learns to make an open jump shot he'll be my most improved next year. He's too afraid to turn the ball over to create anything on offense right now. I think Kaleb will be a lot better next year, but he's really frustrating to watch right now. I won't even start on his defensive lapses.

Bryant would provide a huge up side at center combined with other height blessed players like Chris McC and Diagne and even the resident DC2 Dominate tCan Kaleb Joseph be as horrific as this year? Roberson has seen enoughPT to know he can play a major role on the team if he can produce sufficient offense. Gbinije has been improving since he arrived here and I don't see that ceasing to happen Same with Clooney. It really hinges on Bryant. Jimmy looks to be ready to ride into the sunset and what better way then having a NC trophy on your shoulders while doing it!?
