No.

Davis lied to Fine about needing money for school loans around 2000?

Fine demanded the money back in the latter half of 2001.

Davis recorded the phone conversation about a year later in October of 2002.

All of this is according to Davis. We're only hearing one side of the story so far.

You have to fix the time of two different events. When the $$ went out. When Fine was looking for repayment.

Either way, the taping was later -- 2 or 3 years later?

If I remember correctly, the loan was done in installments starting around 1999. 2001 is when Fine got upset that Davis hadn't repaid any of it, and the incident in Manley occurred. The taping was in 2002.
