Can't recall seeing a UNC team this bad in a long time.

I was thinking this as well, there is just nobody that scares me at all. Concerned not scared with away at Duke and maybe Pitt.

This isn't the Big East where you'd face three ranked teams in 3 games, or two top 15 teams in one week.

Here's the thing, our team has some holes, but we are far better than anybody else I have seen. We are really good in an age of parity. Kentucky kind of took that formula to a title a couple years ago.

or...perhaps...we are now fully recognizing just how good the Big East really was. Put us in the PAC-10, SEC , Big12 you would almost have the same thing.

We just make opposing teams look bad.

UNC has a bunch of talent, but no outside shooters and 0 heart. 8 minutes left in the first half I text my buddy "UNC are done, they're already hanging their heads." They had no idea what to do with the zone but wouldn't make them the first or the last. They didn't play terribly on defense and which is a reason we didn't shoot well. Cooney nailed that 25 footer and that was the only look we got at the basket that entire possession.

They are just horrid. Outside of McAdoo and Paige they really don't have much. TO's and TO's and very impatient on the offense end. I'm glad I'm not a UNC fan gonna be a long season.

They looked lazy and had no passion. Looked D3 out there.

Yeah, I think this is overblown. UNC is a good team. They just aren't built for a zone at all. No shooters at all. I like Tokoto, Paige, and McAdoo. But this team just wasn't designed to face a zone like the one Syracuse rolls out.

Just four years ago, the UNC team was 20-17, missed the NCAA, and was ranked #61 in KP. That was a bad team that we thrashed at MSG. I think that team may have been worse.

The difference between Doherty's teams and this UNC team is that Doherty's teams were bad because they were dysfunctional. This year's UNC team isn't very talented.

They lost 20 some games 12 or so years ago. There had to be games this bad (and it was bad).

I was saying the same thing throughout the game. That was a bad bad bad team. Can't shoot to save their lives, got out hustled and beat up on the glass, careless with the ball, and the only one who gave a was poor Ole Roy. If i'm a UNC fan i'm not happy about that performance, or even the way that team was built. And no PJ Hairston wouldn't have made that much of a difference.

Pj Hairston would make a huge difference...
