It's interesting. Last fall, I did a study on user comment sections for a class by looking through what people say in response to the Big East blog.
I realized people want to read articles that make them feel good about their team and their team's position.
The interesting part is that in the last 10 months, Adelson has completely given in to the fans of teams that are (for now) staying in the Sun Beast, constantly harping on how big and bad Syracuse and Pitt are for jumping ship.
I'm one of the biggest defenders of media outlets on this board, but I won't defend her blogging. It's way too slanted for my taste.
