Per rotoworld"Carmelo Anthony suffered an injured right knee in the second quarter of Monday's game and he will not return.
He was ruled out fairly quick and it sounds like he suffered some form of a knee sprain or a contusion. It was a non-contact injury and he did walk back under his own power. What's more, Melo didn't even really have a limp and this is a strange situation. J.R. Smith, Iman Shumpert and Jason Kidd figure to pick up most of Melo's 38.3 minutes per game. Amare Stoudemire may also get a chance to play 30 minutes in a game with this news. Anthony finished with six points, one board and one block in 14 minutes on Monday."
